Recent events have shown us Standing up for Love is more important than ever—not the soft, fluffy Valentine's love, love that leads a man to take up arms to protect his loved ones or a mother to send her son alone over a thousand kilometres so she can stay to look after her mother or foreigners to volunteer to help refugees they have never met or book AirBnBs in Kyiv they will never use, or buy anything Ukrainian!
But do we need more conflict for this love to emerge?
When we accept our own mortality, we come alive—we connect to something greater, what the Greeks called Agapé (Spiritual love), which can trigger Philautia (self-love) and Storge (love of others).
This love is a game-changer. It helps us to generate the money and resources we need from doing what we love, rebuild shaky marriages, and create Masterpieces—the greatest contribution we can make to create a more sustainable world.
Just look at Volodomir Zelensky, the President of Ukraine. He has become one of the most powerful men in the world almost overnight—he has inspired Presidents, Prime Ministers, parliaments, CEOs and people just like you and me to contribute. And all, because he decided he didn't need a taxi (to flee from Ukraine), but contributions to defend what he loves (Ukraine, its values and people).
True love knows no borders. It is a pandemic more virulent than anything we have seen in the last few years. As this love starts to infect all of us—control and conflict will collapse.
This is exactly what we will explore in this complimentary four-part mini-series. We will help you to embody this love without the need for more war.
The Four Questions
An embodiment of love without needing love from outside.
Your Personal Purpose and the Mission you were born to realize.
How to change your relationship to money and power.
Sustaining yourself and your family just doing what you love.
Polyvagal Theory asserts when our nervous system is triggered, we respond in one of 3 ways: fight or flight (Ukrainians are fighting and fleeing the country); freeze (some are paralysed out of fear and staying); and connection to ourselves, others and a greater force (what Zelensky is inspiring). The current narrative is focused mainly on resistance. And I know from painting in extreme locations all over the world that resistance creates more resistance.
What if we could see beyond the black and white narrative we keep on hearing and distinguish the shades of grey. What if we could dissolve our resistance.
We cannot choose to be happy if we're afraid of being sad. We cannot choose light if we're afraid of the dark. We only have a choice if we are free to choose its opposite. We have to embrace both—light and shadow, control and choice, life and death. Only then, will we have a real choice.
In this mini-series, we will help you reclaim both sides of the narrative so you have a choice again.
Love often disappears in the face of conflict—just think of a relationship with a loved one or colleague. And yet, that's when we need it most. How can we stand for love amidst the biggest conflicts.
Your Personal Purpose is key to unlocking your Inner Game, the doorway to true love. Discover what your Purpose is and what has stopped you from realizing it so far.
When faced with conflict, it's often safer to do nothing than stick our neck out. And yet, standing up for ourselves and others inspires unconditional love to emerge.
Conflict often starts over money and power. What would happen if we changed our relationship to money and power? Power would collapse.
